Designed with affordable capacity and performance in mind, the Travelstar series delivers the right balance of capacity, speed, and design flexibility to meet the needs of mobile applications. Available in an industry-standard 2.5-inch form factor, Travelstar drives are offered in either 7,200 RPM or 5,400 RPM performance, and two different z-height hicknesses. The 9.5mm drives offer cost-effective capacity for notebook PCs, external storage, gaming consoles, and other mobile applications. The thinner, 7mm Travelstar drives are an ideal choice to support sleek, ultra-slim mobile product designs. Models with enhanced availability (EA) options support the stringent demands of “always on” applications in lower transaction environments. Both commercial and consumer users can rely on Travelstar to meet the demanding storage needs of mobile computing.
